With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Ryan Daniel Sims, who left this world on March 8, 2025, at the age of 16. Ryan was a true blessing, a radiant soul whose unconditional love and kindness touched everyone he met. His presence brought warmth and joy, leaving an everlasting impact on his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Born on January 8, 2009, Ryan found happiness in the simple joys of life—spending time with his family, listening to music, celebrating birthdays, and, of course, enjoying cake. But more than anything, Ryan loved people. He cherished every interaction, whether at Two Springs Elementary, during his years in daycare with Ms. Shelley, or in everyday moments filled with smiles and laughter.
Those who knew Ryan describe him with words like saint, angel, pure, empathy, and love—each one a perfect reflection of his beautiful spirit. His kindness knew no bounds, and his presence was a gift to all.
Ryan was preceded in death by his grandfather, Daniel Sims. He is survived by his loving parents, Garrett and Kristine Sims; his cherished brothers, Charlie and Joe; grandparents Carol and Chuck Paskach and Mary Jean Sims; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins who adored him.
